Malinda (Mahala is written over Malinda) HAGA was born in Noble co., near Kiethstown (sic), October 19, 1825 and departed this life August 10, 1912 age 86 years 9 months and 21 days, was married to Ralph KIRKPATRICK February 6, 1851, to this union were born two sons and four daughters.

During the War Mr. KIRKPATRICK was drafted into the army, was a member of 182 O.V.I.  At the close of the War while waiting to be mustered out at Columbus, O., he was taken sick and died in the Hospital at Camp Chase, was buried in Green Lawn cemetery, Columbus. O.

Both sons John and George, and one daughter, Mrs. Susan HALL preceeded her to the great beyond.

The deceased is survived by the following daughters; Mrs. Amanda WEBBER, South Olive Ohio, Mrs. Content McFARLAND of near Lowell, Ohio and Mrs. Mary McFARLAND of the old home.  Also twenty grandchildren and three great grandchildren and one brother, Paul HAGA, of near Keithstown.

Mrs. KIRKPATRICKs twin sister, Mrs. Amanda DELANCEY of Iowa, died in her eighty first year.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Murphy at the Keithstown Church interment in the cemetery near by.
