SHERMAN – Calvin.  The death of Mr. Sherman occurred at his home in Lockbourne where he had been a resident many years, at 9 o’clock Sunday night.  He was 74 years of age and a gardener.  He succumbed to heart disease, from which he had been a sufferer 10 years.  Funeral services will be held in the Lockbourne M.E. church, Wednesday, at 2 o’clock Columbus time, and burial will be made in Fernwood cemetery, Lockbourne, under direction of Denton and Donaldson.  In addition to his wife, Mrs. Cora Sherman, he leaves six sons and six daughters.  Clyde and Allen Sherman, Mrs. Amy Weaver, Mrs. Leona Barcus and Mrs. Eleche Glick all of Columbus; Emmett Sherman of Linworth, Oakley, Mark and Tony Sherman, Mrs. Sadie Allen (should be FULLEN) and Mrs. William J. Gouldner of Lockbourne, and Mrs. Mary Smith of Obetz Junction.  Twenty-five grandchildren, three sisters and four brothers also survive.
